The whole idea and experience of the event, has positively shaped my understanding and vision of the local coffee and tea drinking culture. The scope for networking and for exchange of ideas with the coffee and tea industry experts at this event, opens up plenty of commercial opportunities. The annual International Coffee & Tea Festival/Expo held in Dubai, is the event that I personally, would want to be associated with, and to be part of in the future.
Dubai International Coffee & Tea Festival is an incredible platform for aspiring and professional tea masters alike in the UAE. The local scene boasts many hidden talents who blew away the judges and audience over a span of two days. I look forward to seeing more competitors in 2018 and the years to come, as we put Dubai on the global tea map.
As representative of coffee from El Salvador, I must say this event was over our expectations. It wasn´t easy to deal with all the organization from our country, but the staff was friendly and helpful to support us in every moment. I also have to remark the level of knowledge of all the visitors, a lot of them from different parts of the region. The different championships that took place (barista, brewing, etc) also were an useful networking. We will continue participating, as this market represents a big opportunity for our coffee producers
